More than 429 patients are being benefited and it is expected to reach 50 deliveries per day and 1200 per month of medicines such as: Metformin, Glibenclamide, Insulin, Enalapril, Captopril, Acetylsalicylic Acid, among others for patients with chronic diseases.
Socios En Salud (SES) in alliance with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the DirecciĂłn de Redes Integradas de Salud Lima Norte (DIRIS), has implemented the service of âMedicamentos a su Casaâ, a strategy that allows the delivery of medicines to the home of patients who do not have the possibility of going to the Health Facility due to the limitation generated by the pandemic under Covid - 19 in the delivery of medicines that counteract other chronic diseases such as diabetes, arterial hypertension, among others.

Medicamentos a su Casa, is part of the âCovid - 19 Response in Peruâ project, which aims to implement healthcare strategies to counteract the spread of the virus in patients, their contacts and high-risk groups belonging to the Community Health Program led by Socios En Salud.

This initiative is carried out under strict biosecurity protocols that avoid the risk of Covid-19 infection, and also guarantees care from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the most vulnerable people in the districts of San Martin de Porres, Puente Piedra, Comas and Carabayllo.
