The value of our work

In 2016, SES launched the Maternal and Child Health program to address the health of pregnant women and children at risk. Subsequently, they secured funding from Grand Challenges Canada to expand the intervention and improve the early development of 3,000 children in North Lima.

The CASITA sessions have helped Ghael to speak, become more social and prepare for speech therapies at Pro’s Los Olivos Rehabilitation Medicine Center. He is the first CASITA participant referred to a medical center to ensure his continued development.
