Partners In Health Laboratory obtained ISO9001 NQA/UKAS certification.

The Socios En Salud laboratory, biosafety level III, obtained the ISO9001 NQA/UKAS international certification; which concluded satisfactorily with the certification audit of our Quality Management System under the ISO 9001:2015 Standard.

The certifier NQA, an entity accredited by UKAS, United Kingdom Accreditation Service, recognizes this with the ISO 9001 certification. For this, SESLab complied with a set of principles that guarantee the health and continuous improvement of the processes and service that is provided to patients; in addition, risk reduction, effective process management, error prevention, quality cost control; exceeding the expectation of our users and customers; among others.

Objective achieved

“It is an achievement for the entire team of Socios En Salud, once again, SESLab puts the quality of its service and efficiency in its operations first,” indicates Roger Calderón, director of Laboratorio SESLab.

CalderĂłn, highlighted that this recognition leads us to excellence in our research, since the implementation of this quality system ensures continuous improvement of the SES Laboratory Management System, the integral development of its personnel, the improvement of its processes and work methods, and total quality in service.

He also added that this certification translates the high level of responsibility, commitment and good practices of our professionals working at the SES Lab, who work hard to contribute to improving the public health of our community.

For her part, Kathia Lopez, head of Quality and Services of SESLab’s Laboratory Management, mentioned that with this ISO, Socios En Salud confirms the quality of its management in SESLab’s services and thus fulfills the institution’s mission, which is to provide quality attention and comprehensive health care with a preferential option for the poor.
