Socios en Salud and the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima (MML) culminated the theoretical training in the CASITA methodology aimed at community agents in the districts of Carabayllo, Villa María del Triunfo and San Juan de Lurigancho, where the Child Development Project (CASITA) has been implemented from November 2019 to May 2020.
During the training the community agents were trained in child development, early stimulation, importance of “give and take” interactions between caregiver and child, gender equity as a cross-cutting theme in the methodology and socioemotional support among caregivers.
